Ethan: Senior Shoot [Columbia, SC Senior Photographer]
I met Ethan and his parents a couple of weeks ago to shoot his senior pictures. I had so much fun hanging out with Ethan and capturing some great senior pictures. Ethan plays baseball for Dutch Fork (Go Foxes!) so we incorporated a baseball bat into some of his photos. His mom also had a picture of him from his childhood that she treasures, and we incorporated that into some pictures as well. Ethan was so easy to work with, and I had a blast. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture this exciting time in your life, Ethan! Check out some of my favorites!

Changes coming to Kimberlee Lockwood Photography!
So, I've been hinting for some time on facebook and twitter that there would be an important announcement on my blog. Well, the time has come.
My photography business has grown significantly over the past several months, and I feel so blessed that you have allowed me to capture and freeze moments in time for you to hold on to forever. When I began my business, I set my prices low, in an effort to truly explore my passion for photography and to see where it took me. I am quickly beginning to realize that my passion for photography is taking me to new heights, as I continue to book sessions and have opportunities that I have never had before. My passion has grown into a small business, something I am very excited about. I am seeing a clear vision for Kimberlee Lockwood Photography, and I am excited about the next several years.
Over the summer I have focused on developing Kimberlee Lockwood Photography's brand. This included upgrading to new packaging, becoming more involved in social media and creating my personal style as a photographer. Additionally, I have begun to extend my prop collection, to make your session more unique. Throughout the summer I realized that my current session rates fail to support the needs of Kimberlee Lockwood Photography. While I love that I can offer reasonable prices to my clients, I feel a need to grow and improve my small business to benefit you, the client.
Over the next six months, there will be many changes coming to Kimberlee Lockwood Photography. I have a vision of where I would like to see Kimberlee Lockwood Photography be as a business in six months, and in a years time. These changes, will allow me to provide more to you, my dear clients, and to enhance your photography experiences.
The first change, will be a change in session packaging and pricing. I will be simplifying pricing and packaging to benefit you. Click here to see those changes. Please keep in mind, that these prices do not apply to clients who have already booked sessions, or those who have spoken with me about booking sessions.
The second change, coming during the beginning of 2013 (hopefully), will be an investment of a professional website and blog, something I have been dreaming of doing for the past several months. This professional website and blog will only further help develop Kimberlee Lockwood Photography's brand, as well as giving Kimberlee Lockwood Photography a more professional feel.
I don't want to giveaway all of my exciting changes, but I invite you to follow me along this journey. I cannot thank you, my clients, enough for the support, encouragement and for exploring my passion for photography step by step with me. I would not be where I am today, without all of you wonderful people, and for that I am so very grateful.

Baylee 9 Months: Kids & Family [Columbia, SC Kids & Family Photographer]
A few months ago I had the chance to shoot Baylee's 6 month photos. I was so excited when her mom contacted me again to do her 9 month photos. Baylee and her mom are so fun to work with! Baylee's mom not only brings the CUTEST outfits, but she also brings a lot of props as well. Between both of our props we are able to get some really creative and great pictures! For Baylee's 9 month photos we met at the State House. Baylee definitely rocked her 9 month pictures. Check out some of my favorites! Don't forget to like Kimberlee Lockwood Photography on facebook as well!
