Richards / Hughes Family: Kids & Family [Spartanburg, SC Kids & Family Photographer]

I met up with Emma (my best friend, sorority sister and roommate from college) and her family a few weeks ago for a fun session. Emma's Nana and Papa joined us, along with her aunt, uncle, cousin and her cousin's girlfriend. Emma's mom, dad and brother were also there. I had so much fun with the Richards / Hughes family. They were laid back during the entire session, which made my job super easy. Emma found this awesome chalkboard at a garage sale and decided to use it as a prop. The chalk board, now named The Emma, has joined KLP's prop collection (because it is just THAT awesome). Check out some of my favorites below!

Katie & Eric: Engagement Shoot [Spartanburg, SC Engagement Photographer]

I was so excited when Katie contacted me several months ago about shooting her and Eric's engagement pictures. I have known Katie and Eric since our freshmen year in college. Eric was one of the first people I met at Wofford, and I met Katie a few short weeks later when she made a visit to see Eric at Wofford. The first time I saw Eric and Katie together, it was evident that they shared a genuine love for each other. That same genuine love was just as strong during their engagement shoot. Katie and Eric were both naturals in front of the camera! Their dog Scooter (a boston terrier, naturally) joined us for some photos too! I had a great time shooting their engagement photos downtown Spartanburg and at Wofford, check out some of my favorites!

One of the things I love most about this next picture is the look on Eric's face. You can see just how much he loves and adores Katie!

Katie is about to begin her first year of teaching. She had the creative idea to incorporate both of hers and Eric's professions into the shoot. I absolutely love this idea!

When Katie mentioned that she would like to have some photos taken at Wofford I begged suggested we venture down to the railroad tracks behind the baseball stadium. As a freshman at Wofford, I have eyed the railroad tracks with 'Wofford' written across the bottom as a perfect location for pictures. I was ecstatic when I was able to snap a couple of shots as the sun was setting!

Eric played football for Wofford, so we also ventured down to the football field to get a few shots.

Katie attended the University of Georgia for undergrad. Needless to say 'dawg' football was definitely something she experienced every weekend one way or another!

Katie and Eric - I wish you a lifetime of happiness. You two are perfect for each other!
